I found myself, yesterday, wondering about the issues of mixing everything together.

Currently, everything is separate, and although it'd be nice to be able to combine the blog/game archive/music/etc together, it would in fact destroy a few things.
For example, if all the games are held in the same site as the blog, then that's two very different interfaces.
Whilst people tend not to search the blog, unless they're hunting for something specific, they do tend to search the game archive.
And the game archive's search has to be entirely different to how the blog's search would be.
It's going to be complicated to blend all these elements together, whilst still allowing each "section" of the site to have it's own special abilities.
Hmmm..

Anyhoo, yesterday was mostly spent enhancing the output script.
The script can now handle hefty multi-line SQL results, and can output them in different ways depending on what "type" the post is, be it a Blog, Game, Music, Pixelart or whatever else I dare to add.
On top of that, I took some time to ensure a few of those awkward unicode bugs were removed. Like how WordPress adds ?'s wherever there are apostrophes, and often when there's a bunch of spaces in a row..

If you head on over to the AGAW-Test Site now, you can see a simple layout. Note that the Blogs have a black border, whilst the game (Sheriff of Cardington) post has a Blue border. Music, Poetry and Pixelart will have similar borders, and I'm also considering adding little icons in the corner, too.

I was expecting to be much further into this, by now, but wondering how to keep the style and search functionality of the Game Archive, whilst also integrating it into the blog, has left me rather troubled.
..
