What I didn’t do/Possible Improvements

I struggled with trying to add “more” to this game.
Having spent most of the past couple of weeks playing Zelda:BOTW, I found myself wondering whether I should pinch some ideas..
But, in the end, I just ended up playing BOTW, and then playing some more BOTW!!!

Sorry!!

  • Rajasekaran Senthil Kumaran

The title with the globe and castle is looking good. The 2 music tracks are fitting well with the roaming the world and fighting inside the castle. Players pants and legs disappearing in the blue water tile is a nice touch.
Surprisingly I find the easy level to be hard. The gems and lives disappearing so fast makes it challenging. Lost lot of lives trying to collect them in between the battle.

    • Balancing on this game wasn’t the easiest! But at least there’s a little amount of balancing. Up until Thursday/Friday, the enemies would spawn completely randomly, with random speeds and random amounts of health. That was certainly a lot tougher!!
Now it’s kinda middle-ish. But the number of baddies certainly still ramps up at a dramatic rate.

To be honest, the game’s really quite repetititve, so I didn’t want there to be too many situations where it might get a bit boring. Hence the need to ramp things up, quicker.
If I could’ve come up with something else to do, other than just “Castle, Fight, Castle, Fight, Repeat..” then maybe I could’ve tweaked things a little more.
      *shrugs*

.. I blame Zelda, taking away all my GameDev time 😀
