What I didn’t do/Possible Improvements

This week’s game was spurred on from a very minor comment over at the OUYAForum, where Jeffry84 vaguely just about happened to mention Paperboy.
After a discussion about how Paperboys aren’t really relevant anymore, the game evolved into being about emails, instead.
Attempts were made to make the game be about throwing emails into people’s inboxes, but there wasn’t much skill involved in that, so instead the idea slowly morphed into what it is now.
A shoot-em-up with emails!

It still feels a little repetitive, though. Perhaps the game would’ve been better had I split the game into levels. I’m not sure.

Never mind.. On to the next game!

Music is fitting the fast paces nature of the game. Sheriff’s hat jumping off and on the head during the jump is cool. Enjoyed reading the email subjects.
Game is rewarding precision in shooting and quick response.
The game is intense. Mindless shooting leads to immediate end. When things speed up, jumping up and down, moving left and right along with the movement of the background stars makes you feel you are falling off the sky.

    • You make the game sound much better than I do!!

So how many unique valid and spam emails are there?

        • Um… I think it was 50 of each. (50 spam, 50 none-spam)
Taken directly (mostly) from my inbox/spambox, just a few days ago!
          .. it might be 51, though. Can’t remember if I did 0-50 or 1-50..
(And currently far too tired to bother digging out the laptop to check!!)

The green grids, green background and greenish glow on the right side give the cyberspace look for the game. The moving platform below is given a 3d perspective look given a 2.5D look for the game.
