Developments

With the basic dungeon generator up and running, I spent most of yesterday adding in enemies.

At the moment, the game is FAR too difficult, and definitely needs some kind of balancing.

Of course, it doesn't help that I've not given the player any kind of weapons, yet. I'm not sure if that'll be enough, though, as the enemies are insanely quick, and I've no idea what kind of weapons the player would find useful.

So, that'll be today's task.
Trying to fight against swarms of enemies using... Something!

Meanwhile..

Further tweaking to the server.

I've now got a whole bunch of the random spambots down to a manageable size, and the server seems to be flowing a little better.

There are still the odd spikes in the "Time taken to render a page" stats, but I think those sorts of issues are simply down to the fact that I'm now on a Shared-Hosting server. I have to contend with "Others", now!!

Over on Patreon, for subscribers only, I've posted the fourth of my Notebook look-back's, where I take photos of my old notebook and comment on the terrible scribbled notes within.
This week's isn't entirely interesting, but ... hey, it's a notebook
