For roughly 13 american cents, I can have Dall-E draw 4 variations on a text based request.
Compare that to NightCafe.Studio, which is only 7 cents per credit..
However, typically when I use NightCafe Studio, I ask it for twice the size, and twice the quality, so that ends up being 4 credits, or 28 cents per image.

So, $0.13 for 4, or $0.28 for 1.
An epic price difference!

... However..
Although you can upload starting images to Dall-E, it can only ever draw square images.
Because of this, my recent method of using NightCafe to enhance the Platdude Pixelarts won't really work with Dall-E, which is a shame.

So I think I'll be keeping NightCafe for "redrawing" purposes, whilst using Dall-E for chaotic craziness!

Meanwhile...

I asked the AI to give me ideas for "A brand new layout for the website AGameAWeek.com", and here's the four that it suggested.



Not too keen on the colourscheme, but of the four, that top left one looks much more functional.
Some things (The pixelart and poetry) are already in smaller boxes, so it wouldn't be too hard to expand that to include the blogs and games.
Maybe make the boxes bigger and the fonts a bit smaller, so things fit a bit more readable.
Shrink those giant headers down a bit, and make the entire box be a clickable element.

Yeah, I think that sounds better.

I spent most of yesterday thinking about better ways to do this site, and out of everything I've considered, this single image seems to be sparking the most ideas in my head.
