New games every week!
OK, Now Work!! Blog
20th September 2022
After the chaos of the past week, today should hopefully be a little more normal.

-=-=-

Today's plan, much the same as yesterday, is to finish whatever that Crabman game is.
Yesterday didn't go according to plan. I was hoping to get a ton of stuff done on the game, but instead ended up watching TV, seeing hundreds of marching soldiers guide the Queen's coffin through parts of London to her final resting place.
Compelling viewing, and took up pretty much most of the day.
*salutes* Farewell, Ma'am.

Today, then.. Get the game done.
Get it finished, uploaded, video, etc.
That's the job.
I'm on the clock.
Hop to it, Jay.

Meanwhile..

I woke up at 5am to illegally download the new Quantum Leap because it's still not shown up as being available to watch legally in the UK yet.
It's been a LONG time since I torrented a TV show like that, and hopefully it'll be a while before I have to do it again.
I waited impatiently for Picard, and Strange New Worlds, whilst Paramount sorted their crap out, but there's no WAY I was waiting for Quantum Leap. It just wasn't happening!!
Of all the types of shows to mess around with the timing of...!

I will, of course, be purchasing the show whenever it's available in a purchasable format here in the UK. I expect iTunes will be the likeliest way to do that. I previously bought Dark Matter and The Orville S1&2 in that way.
.. Annoyingly Orville S3 doesn't seem to be available that way, meaning my nice digital collection is now incomplete, though I have watched it via Disney Plus, and teared up during almost every episode of that season. If you haven't seen the Orville yet, do do that.

I certainly hope that Quantum Leap becomes purchasable over here in the UK. And sooner, rather than later.

My thoughts on the first new episode of Quantum Leap.. Too much in the space of a single episode. Lots of necessary exposition got crammed into about a minute, then the show carried on. Definitely a case of a show needing a two-hour pilot!! (Though this is its second pilot...!)

Other than that, though, I really did enjoy what I saw, and I hope it's a good sign for future episodes that I actually liked the cast.
More please!!

Further Quantum Leap info is available at Quantum Leap Info and the Quantum Leap Podcast. Beware spoilers!!
