OK, here's what I know..
1. The icon file's definitely in there! I know that for a fact, since .. well.. I put it there!!
2. If I delete the app, and install it directly from XCode, the icon works.
3. When I download Cardagain from the AppStore, it does it TWICE.. The first time, it downloads the old iPhone-Only edition, the second time it downloads the new update.

Now, here's the thing..
The new one works with iPad, and the old one doesn't. As in, the old one doesn't include an icon for iPad.
What I think is happening, is that the first download happens, the system cache's it's icon files, and then the second download happens...
The second download says "Yeah, it's got an iPad Icon", then the system looks through the icon cache, but finds that there's no iPad icon, and that returns the corrupt data.

I'm guessing based on the fact that a direct install doesn't do this, and that the system inexplicably downloads the thing twice.
It's really a bizarre thing to see, and I'm not sure if it'll happen for anyone who doesn't currently have the older version of Cardagain installed.

I'd like to see what's happening on other people's iPads, so if you've an iPad, and haven't previously played Cardagain, grab one of the following promo codes, and give it a whirl for me.

The general consensus on the Twittersphere seems to be that the icon's pretty much just corrupt.. Dangit..

I guess I'll be playing "fixer-upper" tonight, then!
