Beta Collexion is currently on the frontpage of GameJolt. They've decided to promote it, now that it's a complete 26 game collection.

I crammed my arse off making sure I got the entire game done in time for the 1st of December, so that everyone could enjoy the Advent(ure) over the course of December.
I got it posted, everything was good.

Over the course of December 1st -> 24th it had 82 plays. 82...
Yesterday, ONCE IT WAS OVER, GameJolt finally stuck it on their frontpage, and it's gained an extra 100 plays over the course of the day (Which, given it was Xmas day, is a nicely decent number!)
That's 100 people who got to play "a collection of games", and not enjoy "An advent calendar of daily games", and if I'm honest, I'm really disappointed by that outcome.

If I attempt this, next year, I'll make more of a deal of the advent nature of things, and hopefully more people will get the point of the collection.
I'd like to apologise to all the people who are, today, stumbling over the game and going "These are rubbish games!". When seen as "A pack of games", they are a bit lacklustre. The whole point was the Advent nature of things, and you've missed that bit!

Next year, I'll do better, and whinge at GameJolt if they break my game's logic, again!
