At the very start of this year, I stumbled upon Twitter user @Pixelarf, who was posting a daily scribble. The rules were simple. Take the scribble, and integrate it into a pixelart of your own.
I added a second rule of always trying to incorporate Platdude into my pixelarts, and so began my journey into Daily Platdude Pixelarts.
Over the course of the year, I've now drawn 365 little Platdude doodles. I've built a site to show off the pixelarts. Each pixelart also has it's own desktop (1920x1080) sized HD version, and this past week have created a secondary Calendar Generator site, so you can easily create a lovely wall calendar of your favourite pixelarts.

Given that I'm not really an artist, by any stretch of the imagination, I'm really quite proud that I've managed to create over 300 of the little pixelarts.
Sure, there's a little repetition in amongst the pile, but I wasn't honestly expecting to be able to get past 50 of the things, let alone manage an entire year's worth!

I hope you've enjoyed my unscheduled diversion from AGameAWeek.
Rest assured, 2016 I'm going back to doing AGameAWeek, although I also might keep the Pixelarts going, too. It all depends on whether I can keep up the rate of both AGameAWeek and the Pixelarts, simultaneously.

Guess we'll find out, soon enough!
