Play Time

Rhythm Heaven Megamix for 3DS turned up, yesterday! o/yeayo/

-=-=-

At first I was a little disappointed that the songs in the game weren't the original versions. Although some of the games (Like Karate Man) date back to the original GBA title, the tunes were all remade, and it wasn't quite the same.
But Sad Jay continued to play, far far longer than Jay (Sad or otherwise) has played a game for a long long LONG time.
As you progress and unlock things, and more and more elements of the game open up, I was happy to find the original GBA/DS tracks were still in the game.
And DAMN, the amount of unlockable extras in the game. Staggering!
A Shop to buy Toys, a Museum to replay games and read little tidbits of info, and even a Goat!

There's SO much content in this game, it's unbelievable.
According to the DS's Stats, I played the game for 3 hours and 54 minutes, yesterday, and I've barely started to unlock any of the Museum stuff, or complete the sub-tasks, and I've still not earned a 100% on any of the stages, yet.

That's probably the most I've sat playing a game in years.
I've had a lot of enjoyment from the game, and I hope to have a whole lot more.

Highly recommended!

.. Amazing how much more fun I can get from a single Nintendo game, than an entire XBox One.

Developments

Meanwhile, I made a start on what will be the largest (I think) game in the Gamma Collexion, Gamma Z.
I'm currently working on the style of random generator to make the game feel nice and big, and then I'll be trying to come up with a nice way for the game to move, since it'll require a few specific rules.
Should be fun!

I've still got another 12 or so games to add to the Collexion, but I figured it probably best to get the basics of Z going. Maybe..
Either that or I'm just procrastinating! .. Could be that!!

Daily Doodle : Am I Dreaming?

Platdude's having the time of his life.
It's so colourful and happy, here!

Misc..

It's hard to beat Nintendo's thing,
With all the fun times that they bring.
I hope the never fade away,
and that their games are here to stay.
