New games every week!
Further Knitting Blog
9th December 2019
I spent most of yesterday wrapped up in my knitting..

The knitting page
now contains the ability to select/deselect various balls of yarn.
Over on the right, you can click one of the full selection to add it to your collection, or click one from the collection to remove it.

There's also a few pre-made palettes that you can pick from, too.

There's still a few other elements that I'd like to add to the engine.

1. Yarn types. Thicker, thinner, looser, etc.
Thicker yarns to make chunky jumpers. Things like that. In the world of knitting, there's an awful lot of variety you can make if you just change the type of wool you're using.

2. Stitch types. Knit one, Purl one!
Some types pop out, some pop under, and you can create all manner of different knits by changing this up as you go.

3. Stitch tightness.
The current stitch is 1 V = 1 Pixel, Square.. It looks.. OK.. but it doesn't look very realistic.
This will probably go alongside stitch types, when I'm building that functionality in.

I could also do with looking in to how the stitches connect, as the current version leaves wonky lines here and there.

But otherwise, I'm quite happy with how it currently looks, and I might leave all of that aside for another day.
...I should probably code a game, or something!!!
I haven't made a game since Thuesday! Eeek!
