Over on SoCoder, Pakz posted a link to a site called microStudio, which is quite a lot like how the old PlayMyCode used to be.
Create a project, draw sprites, code a game, all inside your browser.

There are "quirks", like how the language expects you to do your own screen scaling stuff, (especially when you consider the chaos of web-dev, and all the different devices you need to support.)

There's also currently a lack of proper audio functions. There are beeps, but (for now, at least) that's about all you can do.
Other than that, the syntax is a little obscure in places, (for : end?) but nothing that I can't cope with.
