(As in.. A board made of cards!)
Move around the Card Board and score points as you go.
Points are awarded when you land on an unturned card, based on the card's value (Ace = 1, Jack = 11, Queen = 12, King = 13)

If you land on a Diamond, you'll earn twice as much. A Heart will give you another go. Landing on a Spade will cause you to Lose the points, whilst landing on a Club will award the points to all the other players.

The winner is the player with the most points, once the last card has been turned.

What I Didn't Do

I was going to try and make this a bit more RPG like, with the Daggers (Spades) killing the player, and the Hearts (.. Hearts) giving extra lives, but I couldn't find an easy way to balance that. It was either far too hard (insta-death!) or far too easy, depending on the first card you landed on.

I might revisit the idea in the future, and try to figure out a better way to do a more RPG element.
.. Or just do The Quest like I probably should've!

In-Real-Life

One of the things I've been trying to do, wherever possible, in the Shoebox, is to make the games real-world playable.
This game is no exception, and is really easy to set up.
Shuffle a deck of cards, mark "spot one" somehow (a coaster?!) find a few player tokens and a dice, then grab a pen and paper for scoring.
You can try out different layouts, maybe create some extra rules, (bonus for Ace?) and try out lots of different ideas.
