RetroRaider3’s coming along quite nicely, now.
There are enemies, there are pickups and there are many rooms to explore.
The minimap currently includes the “AI Player went this way” map. I’m not sure if I should leave that in or make it only display your own path. Hmmm..
Today I’ll be adding bullets, and then getting the AI Player to drop the main “quest” objects around the level, to give you some form of objective to the game.
I’m going to need to make the drop-points spread out away from the start-point, but also away from each other. Could be tricky!
Meanwhile, over on SoCoder2, I spent most of yesterday adding oodles of Admin features to the new site, so although I did do a fair amount of coding, nobody else can see the results!!
There’s now features to lock topics, move them around, and also for me to view everyone’s uploads, so I can check nobody’s uploading dodgy things to my server.
