Blog – Next..!!

Currently a bit of a blank canvas.

No idea what sort of game I’ll be tackling, this week.
Feel free to suggest an idea or two.

I’ve started to rewrite Letter Lattice so that it fits nicely onto iOS screens.
I’m also going to go through and create some new word lists, as well as reducing the previous word lists down to 5 words, so that a nice star based menu system can be created.
.. I think that’s the best way to do it, anyway.

If you’d like to suggest a word or two, (or five!) Stick them in here.
Include your name if you want onscreen credits!

I finally got Quadoban iOS compiled and submitted for review.
Now there’s just a long boring wait for it to enter review, before I find out whether I actually did everything right!

Hopefully it passes review, but even once it does, I might hold back on release, and spend some time neatening up the menu and things..
*shrugs* Not sure, to be honest.
It is, after all, simply a test.

The server now appears to be quite a bit more stable, since the hours and hours I spent digging into the server, the other day.
Of course, I can’t say that for sure, as there are still occasional blips, but for the most part the hourly burp seems to have vanished, and things feel a little bit smoother.

Daily Doodle : Hovering

Floating on a layer of air, Platdude’s new hoverbike can get up to some crazy speeds.
What a silly helmet, though.

I’m getting no further in Zelda,
Just climbing up mountains and walls.
I’m wandering round, eating things that I found.
Cooking Apples, Fish and Rice balls.

If you’d like to stuff my mailbag, (Please do!!) you can do so right here, at Send comments, questions, game ideas, thoughts and more, and they’ll usually show up on my daily blog, the very next day.

After reading yesterday’s blog I searched for what might me the feature you mentioned, but couldn’t figure out. What was the feature that you forgot to switch off in the “Pigeon’s treat” game while releasing?

    • There’s supposed to be a lot more variety in the platform types.
At one point I was debugging item placement, so turned all the platform objects into 3-platform objects.
I forgot to turn that back off again!!

A happy accident to have used fewer colors, as all the 28 different colors might have been a bit too much.
