New games every week!

Yesterday I started a brand new adventure. One which probably won't lead anywhere.

Wowie!!

... *shrugs*
I need to learn quite a bit, here, like how to move elements around on the screen and such.

If I can figure it all out, and get it moving well enough, it'll mean I get a few extra capabilities in the engine, but since I'm more or less starting a whole new engine from scratch, it likely won't be plopped into Browsercade or JSE any time soon.

Instead, I'm thinking of using this for THREE DEE experimentations.
Anyone who's been following me for any longer than a week will know that I've been avoiding such things for .. forever.
But with a 3D VR headset to play with, I'm finding myself wondering about a very specific style of none-game that might be doable.
A simple endlessly scrolling 3D environment. No real gameplay, just something nice and relaxing to look at while, for example, riding my exercise bike.

That shouldn't be "too" hard, right?!
I'll start with big giant rectangles, and try to get those moving. .. Or probably get the camera moving, instead. Euuuw, cameras!!!

That's a long long long way off. To start with, I need to get that simple little rectangle to move where I need it to.
Let's see how that works out, then move on from there.
