Me and Mum's reorganisation of my bedroom hit a bit of a wall, yesterday.

The new TV Aerial arrived. A nice little stick thing that can be sat on the windowsill to receive a decent signal.
.. Didn't work.
In order for it to work, it needs to kinda dangle halfway up the window, in mid-air.
I think the houses at the back must be blocking the signal.
So, um.. That was a waste.

The aerial will likely end up in Mum's front-facing bedroom, where the Winter Hill transmission mast can be seen in the distance fairly easily.

Meanwhile..

Get the old shoe rack.
Paint it white.
Add books.
SORTED!

Was the plan.
The reality was much less satisfying.



Though it looks "OK", the end result was much more messy than expected. It looks cluttered, and seems to take up an alarming amount of space, considering it's so small.
The whole room seems to end up looking a lot smaller just because that great big pile is sitting there.
Nope.

The shoe rack will be removed later today.

We also have another slight issue to contend with.
Where's the Amstrad going to go?
We're currently trying to come up with a nice way to make the lower of the big white shelves a bit sturdier, so that it can attempt to hold the Amstrad's monitor. (It's a hefty old 80's CRT!)
Can we do that?!
Maybe..
We just didn't want to attempt it yesterday, after everything else was going wrong.

All in all, a bit of a wasted day, really.
Hmm.. :/
