Over on the Centipong DS post, Jefferson just popped on over (4 years after his last comment) and asked about the music.

I know it's been a few years and probably should've asked this the first time, but have you considered uploading the game's music to somewhere like YouTube? It's really nice. I'd rip it myself but DSbuff just gives me two empty folders (data, overlay) and bin files I'm not gonna try to pick apart.
Also, I remember seeing a trailer for what I assume is a PC version of the game with a ''higher quality'' version of the main theme. Maybe upload both versions of the OST if there is two?

OMG! Not My Music!!!
The soundtrack in this game is taken from Aminet, back in the days when it used to be the case that Aminet only held files that were licensed to be reused.
..
At some point, that stopped being the case, so I had to stop doing that, but whether or not the CentipongDS soundtrack was on the right/wrong side of that, I'm not 100% sure.
I should probably check into that.

The original mods are...
Termination Day
Invasion
Longing for Techno 2
Flum
Artcore - Hidden
and
sdv #5

Though how/when they're used, I honestly can't remember!

Once I realised the errors of my Aminet-Sourced music, I started doing all my own stuff, and everything since has also been uploaded to the Music section of the site.
(I think.. There may be gaps thought!)

AGameAWeek has a whole music section with a great ('ish) Jukebox functionality.

Random thoughts by Jay

hmmm.. I think I could probably do a better job of that nowadays. I've recently learned how best to do Canvas->Music Streaming, which I've used for both SpikeDislike.com and JNKPlat.com
The jukebox could probably be rewritten with a much nicer interface if I did that. Mmm.. Yeah, that might be something to do.

Anyhoo, that's just me waffling..
Over in "The Mod Era" album is a version of the Centipong theme from a different edition of the game.

Meanwhile, in the "Specific Games", there's another version of the Centipong theme that I believe I did using Fruityloops, back in the time when it used to still be called Fruityloops and not yet FLStudio!

Those are available to listen to any time you'd like.

Would I upload all the music to YouTube?
Maybe. I'd have to find a nice way to autogenerate some videos for everything. Can't just be uploading bland empty videos. That's not the way I do thing

I'll see what I can do, on both the site's Jukebox front, but also the YouTube front.

.. Also, fwiw, I tend to avoid uploading music directly to my youtube channel, even if I'm 100% sure it's my own music. Copyright strikes are absolutely insane over on YouTube, and the idea of having a copyright strike on my own music, and that bringing down ALL the stuff I've posted to youtube.. That's not something I'd be all that happy with!
For that reason, all the music I've uploaded is over on ALO'Dare's channel, instead. It's safer, in it's own little channel.

But I've not posted ALL the music there. It's mostly stuff from the past few years, with random oddities in-between.

.. I definitely need to bulk that up a bit, but like I say.. Generate some simple videos, first. That's the important bit for YouTube.
