The endless run of games continues.
Week 19 = something with two S's. *counts letters on fingers* Yeah, 19th = S. -=-=- Snake games spring instantly to mind, if only to give me a week off after the complexities of the Racing game! Sticks, Snacks, Spots, Sewers, String, Splash. The possibilities are endless, unless you count my coding/art skills, then they're quite limited! Let's ask BingChat for some suggestions. Hi Bing. I have to write a retro 8-bit style game, that has a two word title, with each word starting with the letter S. Can you come up with some possible titles and gameplay suggestions?! Hi, this is Bing. Based on web search results, some possible titles and gameplay suggestions for a retro 8-bit style game with two words starting with S are: Super Tilt Bro.: A Smash Bros-like fighting game for NES where you can play as different characters and use items to knock your opponent off the stage. One of the main reasons I've rarely done fighting games is because all of my characters have oddly stumpy limbs, and could never quite reach each other if in a fighting setting! Sequence8: A music sequencing toy for PICO-8 where you can create and play your own tunes using 8-bit sounds and graphics. A. That's not a game! B. I only just did JXMb! That's enough of that, thanks! Solar Storm: A space shooter game where you have to dodge asteroids and enemy ships while collecting power-ups and shooting lasers. Sounds a little generic, there, Bing.. That could be any number of space shooters! What makes it Solary and Stormy?! Hmmm... Spooky Spirits: A horror game where you have to explore a haunted mansion and avoid ghosts and traps while solving puzzles and finding clues. Nowhere near close enough to halloween to be doing horror games, methinks. Sword Saga: A fantasy adventure game where you have to explore a vast world, fight enemies, collect items, and complete quests. That sounds very much like one of those JRPGs that I hate so very very much. "Super Hyper Menu Fighter!!" I hope these ideas inspire you. Good luck with your game! Thanks Bing, I'll see what comes of these.. I don't think I'll use any of them, though, if I'm honest. Still didn't draw a crown, though, did it?! And that was after about 30 or 40 attempt.
