I got to see the bungalow, yesterday! Hurray!!

It was supposed to be Mum and Uncle heading up there, but Uncle had something else come up. Instead, then, me and Mum headed on up, with the help of one of our current neighbours, who drove us there and back, and also got to nosey around in the bungalow.

We were meant to be meeting up with an Estate Agent rep, but they ended up being too busy. Instead, then, we got to meet the current bungalow owner. The son of the previous tenants. He was a lovely man, who showed us around, and then left us to take all the measurements that we needed.
We ended up chatting for a good 10 minutes afterwards, discussing the current stalling with the solicitors, and how we all hate solicitors.
... Specifically our solicitor, who seems to be dragging things out to insane levels of inanity.

Apparently he's been told it might be the third week in September when we're moving in, which is news to us, but Mum's quite happy about that possibility!

All in all, it was really a lovely day, and even our neighbour was impressed by how "like our house" the bungalow looked, how nice and quiet the neighbourhood seemed, and also how nice the current owner was

Now we just have to get there.
Come on, Solicitor!!!
