By 6pm, yesterday, I was done.
I went to bed, I shut down for the night, and I've only just woken up at 9:30am.

One massive major sleep to rule them all.

Yesterday morning Mum rang the solicitor to give them the authority to make the deal on our behalf.
They then rang around to all other solicitors involved and.. Suddenly one of those bloody evil roadblocks cropped up.
The buyers are £2k short of their deposit.

AARRGHH!!!!!

I gotta say, when the solicitor rang back and told us that...
That was NOT a good experience.
Mum was in tatters, and I had to grab the phone to talk to them about it.

They assured us that it wouldn't change anything, that it would ONLY be an issue for the Lender, but we'd still end up with the full amount, we'd still get the bungalow, everything would be ok.
I asked about 3 or 4 times, until I was convinced that all would be ok.

We were both assured that everything will be ok.
But they needed to check with us (for some reason) that the buyers paying £2k less on their deposit would be ok with us. !?

OK..
We agreed.

The contracts were finalised, stamped and are now legally binding.
There's no going back.
