Time for a new game idea.

-=-=-

I decided to go the "Let the A.I. Guide Me" route, yesterday, so sat here trying to come up with a rather silly name for a game.
I prompted the Bing Image generator with just the phrase "Driggle da whoop whoop".
No more, and no less than that. In quotes, to ensure it doesn't whinge about lack of detail. (Fun trick, if you put things in quotes, it assumes you want an image with that as the title, as opposed to looking for an image that looks specifically like something.)

And out popped a picture of a SpongeBob rip-off with a colourful rainbow blaster.

I then asked it for .. SNES Spritesheet : "Driggle da whoop whoop"

And out popped some curious looking creatures, which I suppose is why Driggle has such a big rainbow blaster.

OK, so I guess there's the rough idea for a game, somewhere in there.
What about music?
I asked Suno..
synthpop, Arcade Theme tune for a fun colourful Nintendo style platform videogame called "Driggle da Whoop Whoop" High energy, exciting synths, 1980s joyful pop tune
..to which I got a fun little song about castles, rainbows, clowns, coins, stars and more.

So far, then, the game looks like this.

Driggle (who definitely isn't a SpongeBob rip-off) is running left to right. You can't currently control him entirely, as he'll continue to run in that direction until you tap in the opposite direction, or you hit a wall.
He can jump up to the level above.
He's in a castle.

And that's all I have.
Today I'll try redrawing some of those sprites from the spritesheet, and maybe add a clown or something, and from there we'll see what sort of game it is.

Whoop Whoop!!
