Developments

Yesterday wasn't as completely unproductive as Saturday was..

But I still didn't do any gamey coding.
I did, however, rejig part of my Photo Extractor tool, so that it would save both a large "The resolution of the scanner" version, alongside a smaller 1280xwhatever resolution, low end jpeg version, which makes it much easier on the system when browsing.
I also made a start on a photo-tagger tool, so that it'll automagically give photos names and organise them into folders and things.
All of this is done so that I can dump the files and folders onto my NAS drive as they are, and not haveto constantly keep reinstalling "Photo Album" tools that only ever work for the lifetime of your current system!
The number of times I've had to scrawl through ALL my photos, retagging the people, and setting all manner of things, is absolutely crazy.
This time I'm using filenames and folders, and to hell with everything else.

Platdude is offering a large cache of gold to the Fire God.
Hopefully that means the boiler will keep working all winter, this year.
