Developments


With the credit screen sorted, I moved on to the Game Over screen.

Again, although entirely rebuilt from scratch, there are a number of similarities between this new Framework and the last.
For example, the Game Over screen features the words "Game" and "Over", which scroll into view, whilst the game fades out, and the menu fades in.
I've certainly not come up with a wonderful new thing to replace that.
It is what it is.

Game Over

Today I've got to start thinking about how I'll be doing the scoreboard.
Although the score-sidebar will still be there, I'm imagining a world full of wonderful delights when it's clicked on.
... I think.
Maybe.

I might even add Badges in there.
But then, if I do add Badges
A) I have to actually think the bloody things up, which usually results in a lot of "Score 10 points", "Score 50 points" and other such rubbish badges.
and
B) I need to then upload all those, painstakingly, one at a time, 1024x1024 sized, up to Apple whenever I release an iOS version.
*nnngh*

Anyhoo, one thing at a time.
Today will be Scoreboards.

(Assuming my day doesn't get sucked up, playing Mario Run.. Whenever the hell Apple decide that it's the 15th)

Platdude only needs to work out the correct set of bricks to push, and in what order they go, then he'll finally get his hands on the gem.

The mornings take ages,
with Advent and more.
Opening calendars
is becoming a chore.
