Yesterday's large v3.0 KORG Gadget update brought along with it the ability to record audio, and since I tend to always attempt at least one new track with each new feature.. That meant having to record myself.

Developments

So, I bought a new laptop.
The laptop is currently about 1/3 of the way through transferring all my backup stuff, and is therefore in that state of stuttering like a crazy muppet, whilst it copies file after file after file, from the NAS drive.
I left it, last night, to do everything overnight.
Thankfully Windows decided to do an update and reboot whilst it was halfway through, so I've had to set the whole damn thing off again, this morning.
Gee, thanks, Microsoft!

I now have to get used to the keyboard.
It's not all too different from the HP laptop's keyboard, except for one very very minor difference.
The Home/End keys have changed positions with the PageUp/PageDown keys.
PageUp and PageDown are now to the left of the Home and End keys. They were the other way around on both the HP and Lenovo systems.

This has already led to quite a large amount of shouting, this morning, as I try to edit all manner of text files, and end up jumping to stupidly random positions instead of the end of the current line.

That'll take some getting used to, I imagine.
Grrr.
In addition, I also need to remember to toggle the "FN" function, at some point.
I hope to got that the BIOS has a toggle for that!!

Otherwise, it's been a fairly smooth upgrade.
