Right, I've had this idea bubbling about for a week or so.
It's almost fermented, but I think I should be able to figure out what's going to happen along the way.

The basic idea is thus..
1. Create a random x-space map (13 for 1 player, 26 for 2, 39 for 3 and 52 for 4)
2. Place a card onto each square
3. Dice rolls to move around, grabbing cards wherever you land.
4. Something to the effect of "Hearts = Gain a Life, Spades = Dagger = Lose a Life, Diamonds = Gems?, Clubs = Roll again"
Then something inbetween, and a final score when the board is clear.

It's kind of a minimal version of The Quest, if I'm honest.

I might also add some sort of enemy that wanders the board, trying to get to you.
Theoretically, this should be a simple enough game that can be played IRL, but it all depends on how I manage to get the "enemy" working, along with the actual gameplay mechanics.
