Yesterday I rejigged the bare layout of the site, and added in a second effect. A generic 3D starfield.

The site is already starting to struggle on even the new MacBook Air, so I think I'm very quickly finding the limits of the functionality.
Today I think I'll be testing out various ways to reduce the load. Shrink the viewport, reduce the framerate, things like that. Again, I don't know if this is going to be useful to anyone, but I think it'll probably be a nice addition to the tools already available here.

Which reminds me.. I should probably add it to the tool list!
