The SmileBASIC edition of Hillside Conquest is coming along nicely.

I'm using Graphics Layer 1 to draw the hillside, then gcopy'ing it over to Layer 0 every frame.
Drawing is done at a reasonably fast pace, although it's obviously not instant, and crawls when updating!
But it's working well enough for the game.

Today I need to work on the AI for the blue tank, and see how evil I can make it.
Also, scoring..

But otherwise it's pretty much the game you expect it to be.
