New games every week!

I posted Monday's SmileBASIC game late last night (Saturday!) in the hope that, with a couple of extra days to spare, I might be able to give next week's SmileBASIC game a little more care and attention.

Next Tuesday (March 9th, 2021) will be Petit Computer's 10th Anniversary.

The DSi edition was launched in Japan on March 9th, 2011, but took AGES to make its way over to Europe.
Although I quickly purchased it as soon as it was available, I didn't really make all that much using it.
A quick default SpikeDislike, and not all that much more.

To be honest, the main issue for me, was having to type everything with a stylus on a tiny little onscreen keyboard.
Thankfully, other people created great things with it, and that spawned a sequel on 3DS, a third version for WiiU (which, for obvious reasons, never had a chance outside of Japan) and eventually the fourth edition on Switch.

SmileBASIC (as it's known outside of Japan) is a wonderful home for all things AGameAWeek, because in this iteration, I can finally use a proper keyboard! Hurrah!!!

...
But you all know of my love of the language, and my myriad of games for it.
Next week's game will involve a little animated 1 and a little animated 0.
The plan is to start them off at different points in the level , then get them to meet up at a cake, or something, and then they'll celebrate, and rinse-repeat..
Currently I'm unsure if it's a platformer or a maze game. I'd like it to be a platformer, but so far I've struggled to make decent randomised platform levels. Whether I can do it here. No idea.

And that's pretty much why I'm giving myself the extra couple of days.

Will I make it?!
Who knows!
Stay tuned to find out!!
