-=-=- My idea is to add an import of a frame. Aaargh!!! OK, I'll see what I can do. I'd need to put limits on things. I doubt I could chop up a giant tilemap, for example, but individual sprites and the like oughta be doable. One of the things I struggle with is getting the art into JSE. I'm not good or pixel art. Take a look around. I'm no artist. I'm DEFINITELY no artist. When my most-used sprite is an 8x8 pixel cross with a circle in the middle, it's blindingly obvious that I'm no artist. The trick isn't to make the best art possible. The trick is to make the best use possible of the art. Don't be afraid to try crazy things with simple looking sprites. Meanwhile...We had a little back and forth about the "Upload" button on JSE. I had to remark that the upload button isn't an upload button. It's an import button. Apparently I haven't previously made the distinction clear enough, so I'm going to have to rewrite things in the commandlist.html, and maybe make a pop up for the button or something. But, basically, the import button only imports the file into your browser's local storage. It doesn't upload it. Nothing you do on JSE is stored on the server. Everything is JUST in your browser. If you switch browsers, or systems, or if your computer has a slight hiccup and kills your browser's cache, then everything you've done will be lost. Use the Export button regularly. Keep the .jse file safe. Import when necessary. But it isn't an "Upload" .. To get Uploads working, I first have to triple-secure the server, then do registrations, and then add some kind of login box on the page somewhere. I'm currently avoiding that, for "Eeeuw, GUI Work!" reasons. Views 83, Upvotes 11
