I finally got to sleep around half two in the morning and then...

Not really sure why it was as loud as it was, but .. Boy.. Was it loud!?!
Far louder than a normal police helicopter.
It circled around the area a fair number of times, before settling above the nearby cricket ground, and beaming it's super-epic light down upon whatever must've been hiding, below.

It flew away about ten minutes later, and then that was me awake until about 6 in the morning.
Ugh.
.. So, yeah, that's me drained for the rest of the day.
