With the addition of enemies, the Greenie game feels a little more.. Gamey..?

It's still not quite there, but I'm hopeful to have the game feeling right by the end of the day.
Not really sure why this game's taking as long as it is.
It's definitely not an impressive game, by any stretch of the imagination!

I guess "The mood of the country" right now is having something of an impact on my usual super happy cheery game making mentality.

Meanwhile..

I've finally managed to get that shadow-layer working in Alien Deathmatch Arena (SmileBASIC)
In the end, I opted to give up trying to get layers in front of sprites, and just ended up drawing the shadows as additional sprites on top.
Gets a little bit crowded, but it seems to work out.

Also, doors work, as does the basic collision stuff, so .. That's good, I guess.

Next will be drawing the player, the aliens and all the guns.
