Like.. How to get to Salford Royal...

Tomorrow I need to get to a Doctor's appointment up at Salford Royal, and right now I'm trying desperately to organise some Patient Transport to get me there.
Unfortunately, with .. All of the chaos of the NHS right now.. That's proving to be a much more difficult task than it normally is.

Other options. Ask a friend/relative/neighbour. Our willing neighbours are dwindling, most friends have moved away, and relatives are currently all trying to get over to Ireland for a funeral, let alone faff about heading to Salford.
It's really not that great.
Instead, I'm finding myself looking at Public Transport, which would involve one bus, and two trams, to get me in a rough vicinity, where I'd still have to stumble my way through a 10 minute walk.

Honestly, given the current situation, it might just be easier to cancel the appointment.
..I hate doing that.

It's all a lot of kerfuffle for what will be a simple sit-down and chat appointment. I certainly wish there was an easier way to do this.
