On a Nintendo controller, the bottom face button is B, the one to the left is Y and the one to the right is A.
PSX = Bottom X, left Square, Right Circle
XBox = Bottom A, left X, Right B

For simplicity's sake, let's go with the Nintendo layout.

B is hold, A is Jump Right, Y is Jump Left

Y-B-A should be the positions of the three buttons, so you can hold your thumb on B and roll it over to the two jump buttons.
This makes things silky smooth when doing the athletic jumping portions of a JNKPlat game.

Now, let's look at Browsercade's keyboard controls..

There are two main options for keyboard controls. Either Cursors and ZXCV or WASD and IJKL.

In the Cursors and ZXCV layout, Z is A, X is B and C is Y..

Which is terms of JNKPlat would be Jump Right, then Hold, then Jump Left.
If we use WASD+IJKL, the three buttons are, in order, Hold, Jump Right, Jump Left.

So, I don't think I'm doing a JNKPlat in either of those.
I'll be honest. I did actually seriously consider writing a special self-contained JNKPlat engine, yesterday.
Platdude's 25th birthday is next Sunday, after all.

Of course, making a "JNKPlat" game would completely ruin the whole two-word, double letter run that I've been doing all year. So, perhaps I should also make an emergency P.P. titled game, too.
