Over on SoCoder we've been having a photography month, taking photos each day based on a given word in the calendar that I posted at the start of the month.

There's a whole bunch of concept words, from Shadow to Reflection, though to Family, Love and Joy.
It's been quite a lot of fun trying to take pictures to fit each day's word, and so I've opted to continue the challenge through May, as well.

For May's challenge, I've started with the same basic concept.
A calendar with words on it for each day over May.


The difference this month is that the images should be created, rather than just photos. (Of course, photos are still acceptable, if the user prefers!)

When I posted that yesterday, I thought to myself "Maybe I should test that my arty setup can even manage this!!", and so I opened up Procreate on the iPad and started scribbling.
The result wasn't too bad, and yet.. What if I also fed it through DrawThings?
I tried that, too, and the result was freekin' awesome!!!

Then I tried another, and another, and yet again another!!
I've now drawn 10 of the month's pictures already, and have AI enhanced alternatives for each.

Meanwhile...

Spent some quality time with Quiver Quash, yesterday, and I think the game's nice and playable now.
I'll have to balance it a bit more, today. It seems WAY too easy, right now, so I'll have to add some of that patented Jayenkai "Stupidly difficult" level to things.
Should be able to post that, later on tonight.
