Half of the stuff from the loft is taking up a quarter of the skip.

At this point, Mum's all "And then we'll have half a skip left!", but .. no, it doesn't work like that.
The half of the loft that was emptied the other day was split into two halves. Half to charity, half to the skip.
This means, only about a quarter of the loft is a quarter of the skip.
If the other half of the loft goes straight into the skip, that'll use up half the skip, so we'll be left with only a quarter!!

Aaah, maths!!

.. Apologies that this isn't a more entertaining blog, this morning, but this has been the majority of the past 24 hours for me, and .. yeah, it's not all that entertaining, is it!?
