Things seem to be taking WAY too long, at the solicitor's side.

Yesterday they emailed us to tell us that the investigation of the Shared Ownership thing is going well.
... But, that was over a month ago.

WE contacted the bungalow owner.
WE got the answer.
WE did all of that within half an hour, and yet the solicitor is dragging their heels, seemingly making the whole matter into much more than it oughta be.

At some point, we do have to wonder if they're only doing this for the sake of raking more money out of this situation.
And, honestly, that's starting to feel like it's the probable reasoning, because .. as far as we can tell, there is NO problem there.
We've had it in writing from both the 25% seller, and also the 75% shared owner, that the bungalow will be 100% ours.
Quite what the solicitor's doing, still, over a month later... I just can't fathom it.

And the Legal Aid which is currently tied to the house. A small charge from when my Mum couldn't afford the divorce from my father at the time.
That was brought up at the start of this process, and the solicitor asked us to sign a form of representation, on the 29th of June.
We did that, sent it off the very next day, then waited over the weekend for news..

In yesterday's email, she mentioned having to get her assistant to finalise it.
...
I mean... really..!?!

"Scare Tactics" is a phrase that's been running around the house, since the solicitor got involved in all of this.

You can literally tell the date that the solicitor got involved in all of this, because these blog posts have been counting the days ever since that happened.
.. Since the day that my mindset has been so awry that I couldn't concentrate on doing AGameAWeek properly.
Because a Solicitor started to "Help" us..

Yeah, things aren't feeling good, right now, and if you can't trust your own solicitor.. .. What do you do!?!
Hmm..

Our Estate Agent is meant to be contacting us at some point about the results from the Electrician survey, and we'll be asking for advice from them. .. After all, they recommended this solicitor, and it's in their best interest if the solicitor doesn't completely fudge this entire thing.

Grrrr..
