Oh dear, I'm stuck in a cycle of JSE Optimising again!
Aargh!!
-=-=-
I tried adding Delta timing into the engine yesterday, but it's not quite as perfect as I'd like. If I try running Centipong with delta timing, the centipede gets all wonky as the exact motion isn't perfect any more.
The image above is just the pedes walking, and they should still be together in their centipede-like groups.
Not sure how I can fix that, but I do remember having that same issue in a previous version of Centipong..
.. So, either my delta timing is right, and this is a weird bug that I've coded into two versions of Centipong, or...
My delta timing was wrong on both occasions..
Hmmm..
I really should try to find another outlet during this unscheduled time off.
I mean, I did manage to create PixelCubes, so I guess that's ok, but realistically I should be creating more awesome stuff, and not.. As I am doing.. Spending most nights in a sleepless half-awake stupor, constantly expecting everything house-move wise to fall to pieces.
This isn't great, guys. Don't ever move.
:/
Meanwhile..
I ordered an Amazon Fire TV this morning. £249 for a 43" tv doesn't seem too bad.
Problem is, the current telly has a large chunky rectangular base, but the new one has little spindly legs either side.
Will it fit on the sewing table we're currently using as a TV stand?
Not sure.
Frustratingly, I can't seem to find any information about the width of these legs, so we're going to have to just hope for the best!
If all else fails, we've plenty of moving-boxes all over the house, and I'm fairly sure it'll fit on a couple of those..
*sigh*
