Aaaaand... We're in!!

Oh boy, what a day yesterday was..

Molly First..
Getting her into her little carry/cage thing was SUCH an effort, with lots of grabbing and pushing and trying to calm her down. Then she had to sit in the carry cage thing for HOURS whilst we did the whole entire move.

Everything was packed up and ready to go, all apart from a few rogue boxes that still needed taped down. Those were done while the removal men were doing their business, and then everything got bundled away inside TWO vans! Gosh, so much stuff!!

But it all went in, and the men seemed reasonably happy that things went as smoothly as they did.
But SO many boxes!
Then, into the car. Our friendly neighbour took me, Mum and Molly all the way to the bungalow.
Molly was alarmingly relaxed once we put the carry cage into the car, and sat noseying out the front window as we drove all the way there.

Bye house!!!

We had to wait outside the front of the house for about half an hour whilst the "staircasing" of the property was still going through. (The 25%/75% share thing, being upgraded to us owning the full 100%)
Once that was done, the previous bungalow owner was allowed to visit us, and brought us the keys so we could get inside and the removal men could start the whole process again.. In reverse!!



There are currently mountains of boxes everywhere, random things in chaotic places, and a whole lot of organisation waiting to be done, but me and Mum managed to sleep well enough, last night.


My bedroom is a mess


Mum's bedroom's less of a mess.


The kitchen needs a complete revamp.


And the bathroom needs... .. A bath!
The room is currently a "wet room", but I'm not sure how well I can cope with such a thing. I'm used to having a bath.

But otherwise, that's about it.. It's a lovely spacious bungalow, and I'm sure once everything's done, essential redecorating is taken care of (my room needs a carpet!!), and the horribly dusty/musty air has been circulated out, (the bungalow's not been lived in for almost a whole year!) we'll be loving our new home just fine.

Today, more online forms and guff like that. Ugh...
Might get back to coding some time in June
