The Blockman Blast game is coming along quite nicely.

Today will be about balancing the game. The fundamentals are working well enough, but the game is lacking a difficulty level.
I should probably also tweak the generator a little to ensure that every level is actually beatable, because right now, that's not always the case.
But otherwise, it's quite a nice little enjoyable game in the Blockman style.. .. That is, a blatant Pacman ripoff with a slightly puzzle'y element to it.



I could do with also jazzing it up a bit, so it's less "Black background", and maybe add a little glow if I can, though the mining-bit makes that harder than I'd like.
Hmmm..

The time-loop element is working well enough, but I think I need to trigger it more often.. It currently only happens when you use the "Blast" to mine, but I'm thinking it might be better to do it based on a timer, instead, more like how the Roland Chronological Imperative game works.

Having it tied to the Blast makes a little more sense ingame, and also gives you slightly more control over things so it doesn't get too hectic.
At the same time, though, it also gives you the ability to almost completely avoid having any time-loops at all, so I think forcing it every so often will likely help.

Oh, yeah, and I need to add an overall time-limit, because otherwise the loops will break when they get too big

But, yeah, it's coming along nicely enough.
