There's a couple more little tweaks that need doing before everything's 100% done, though.

Due to the nature of "old door, old frame" to "new door, new frame", the porch has to be slightly readjusted to fit.
They've come, this morning, to do those last bits and pieces. There's bits of facing to add to the top of the frames, and little holes to fill with foam!
It isn't too much, and all should be done in the next hour or so.



Woohoo!!

We've already had a couple of neighbours remark on how lovely it all is, and even gave one neighbour a guided tour of our lovely new glass-holes, letting them see the quality of all the work they've been doing.
It really has been remarkably good, well done work, and we're happy to be recommending them to anyone who asks.

Given that a fairly high percentage of people reading this aren't anywhere near the Wigan area (and/or even in the same country!) there's not much point in me recommending the local York Windows firm, but if you are interested.. .. There you go!

The SoCoder newsletter got put together through most of the day, yesterday, whilst I sat here on the couch all day, watching busy men do a lot of work.

Today I need to do the Patreon Weekly Update, which is frustratingly mostly the same sort of content, except the SoCoder newsletter includes things that aren't just "Me, Me, Me", so ends up being more content.
Hmmm..
That's not a good thing, is it!?!

I guess that, once more, I really do need to find a special "something" that I can give to the Patrons.

I wonder if there's any sort of extra bonus game features I can do for Patrons!?
Over on SoCoder, we have a special version of SpikeDislike with online high scores that ... 3 people play..!
That only works due to the honour system, though. It's REALLY easy to cheat your score in my javascript games.

Could I do something like that for Patrons?!
.. I'll have a look into the API to see if I can find anything workable.
