Yesterday we spent a couple of hours trying to get the new LED Solar Light onto the wall. One of those motion sensing things with an external little Solar Panel to charge it.
Seems to work reasonably well, but I guess time will tell just how good that little Solar panel is.
It definitely could've done with a battery meter on the bloomin' thing.
Hmm..

I'm also wondering about solar power in general.
I mean, obviously it's not going to replace the whole bungalow's power usage. Our bungalow is on the west-side, so the majority of our roof faces in the wrong direction.

But they do make little external Solar Chargers with battery packs. I wonder if something like that might be useful for charging the Mac and iPad at night.
Might be worth looking into, right?!

Of course, it's Britain, so it's been absolutely pissing down with rain all night, and any possible power rating with this morning's miserably cloudy skies is likely to be practically zero.
