Golly, VidGen2's coming along rather well, huh?!
-=-=-
The number of effects has increased, along with the number of presets to match. Things are really looking rather spiffy, if I do say so myself.
Yesterday I tried adding a full-screen effect, though, and that went horribly wrong, as the framerate plummeted to about 5fps!!! Suffice to say, doing pixel-based maths over a 1920x1080 resolution image, inside Javascript.. .. Yeah, that's not happening!!
Meanwhile, there's a few effects that rely on "Left Spectrum" and "Right Spectrum", but my spectrum analyser's only working for the left channel, so I guess I really need to pull my finger out and get that working properly.
Still, looking rather snazzy so far!
Good going, Jay!!
But.. ?? JSE?!
It's coming, it really is!
Whilst faffing about with VidGen, I've had lots of little thoughts about how to put the new Transpiler together. It's bubbling away in my head, and I've definitely got a sort of plan in mind.
Whether it'll work is another thing altogether, but it's definitely an idea that I'm letting fester away. I think that the more I've planned, before starting this, the better the output will be.
.. I hope!
Maybe...
