The new Doctor is spot on, and has just the right balance of madness/sadness that the Doctor needs.
Plenty of unexpected bits of Lore in the show. Given they've rebranded as "Season One", I thought there might've been a threat of not too-many callbacks, but it seems like Russell's doing the exact opposite, and is using the "Fresh start" as a way of reintroducing a LOT of the core mythos to a new audience.
I really did enjoy the amount of backstory that was explored in the first two episodes.

Meanwhile...

The backup finished late last night, so I've set it on a morning backup, this morning, and it's so far taken about 20 minutes to do the complete scan of old vs new files.
That's alright, I reckon. The NAS used to take about that long to complete. There's a lot of files to scan through!
So, is this "optimal" enough?
...
You know.. I reckon it might be..

There's 3 spare USB ports on the Mac, the 4th being taken up by the keyboard/mouse dongle, which incidentally was This one, the newer one that I bought when doing SmileBASIC games on the Switch.
Does a cracking job, though I might end up toggling the mouse wheel to work the other way around. As "natural" as it feels on a trackpad, the upside down scrolling is really odd when using a scrolling wheel!

So, three spare ports, then..
I'm thinking three USB External drives. One for the main backup, which already exists, one for music and photos, and another for videos.
That oughta be enough, right!?
I could plug those all in as-is, and then not really have to worry any more.
.. Though, I might be better off with some sort of multi-drive RAID based setup.

Time to go on another Amazon trawl to see if there's anything suitable, and silent, that can be used for this purpose.
