The first stack game launches today, and it's actually quite fun.
-=-=-
I've been incredibly tempted to remake this for Shoebox, but I think that might be slightly wimping out, if I end up making 2 identical games during the month.
Even so, it's a nice little puzzle game, and works quite well within the confines of a Foldapuz game.
The trick is to take letters from the main stack, and place them into the two empty stacks.
You'll be building the words up end to start, or it might be easier to visualise it happening backwards.
Either way, each letter should be in reverse order from the left hand stack, to form the two final words top to bottom.
The two final words, by the way, can be of any length, so you can't rely on word length to help you out, here!
.. Though their letters will always total the 12 in the original stack.
It *might* be a little too hard, if I'm honest, but it's a nice addition to Foldapuz.

Take a lettered tile from off the top of the stack,
And then decide which other pile you're going to put it back.
That's how you play the game (how you play the game)
The game of Word Stack. (word stack)
[alt-verse]
The letters are a mess, and so you have to do your best,
To take the letters one by one, it puts you to the test.

[bridge]
It's a pen and paper puzzle that confounds you.
It can drive you slightly crazy if you let it.
So just take your time and think ahead,
The letters will fill up your head.
But after just a short amount of time.
You'll be making a Word Stack. (word stack)

Int. High Street - Late Morning
[Dave and Green walking past yet another Greggs]
Dave: No, no, that won't work either.
Green: That's the seventh location you've rejected.
Dave: Can't be near a Greggs. I'd spend all our profits on sausage rolls.
Green: "Our" profits? When did I become involved in this inevitable chaos?
Dave: You're my business advisor! Like when we made BurrowOffice together.
Green: I wasn't your advisor then. I just watched you fail.
Dave: Details, details. Look, what about that one?
[Dave points to another shop]
Green: That's another Greggs.
Dave: No, next to it!
Green: That's a charity shop.
Dave: Perfect! Retro stuff is basically charity shop stuff but more expensive!
Green: You can't take over a British Heart Foundation and turn it into a retro videogame store.
Dave: Why not? It'd be cool. They don't currently have forty-eight copies of Count Duckula 2!
Green: Neither should you. Neither should anyone!
[They pass another shop]
Dave: Ooh, how about...
Green: That's a Coffee shop. Dave, look around you. There's hundreds of empty, closed, and abandoned shops here.
Dave: I know, it's terrible.
Green: Then stop picking the shops that are actually thriving, and open for business.
Dave: How do you mean?
Green: I mean that if you're supposed to be picking a potential place to open your shop. You should really pick one that isn't already occupied.
Dave: No, No, I'm trying to point out all the possible issues with opening this close to other open shops. This is impossible! How's anyone supposed to sell retro games with all these Sausage Roll distractions?
Green: Maybe that's why Joe's shop is where it is.
Dave: I need somewhere with no food. No drinks. Nothing that could distract me. And definitely no charity shops. Those things are distraction-o-rama, what with all the books.
Green: Books? When was the last time you read a book?
Dave: Oooh, look! Another empty shop!
Green: Yeah, this street's practically empty. Though there is a Starbucks on the corner.
Dave: And a cake shop. Oooooh.
[End credits roll as Dave tries to calculate how many sausage rolls he could buy if he sold all his Count Duckula games]
