How to Play

Each piece moves in the standard way that a Chess Set moves, except they can only land (and pass through) like coloured squares.
Each time a piece lands, the row and column that they land on will toggle to the opposite colour, opening and closing paths as they do so.

(The knight can leap around in L's as normal, but must land on a same-coloured tile)

There's no capturing, and there's no player two, but there is a move counter. Can you beat your previous number of moves?

Note : The pieces don't have to land in their "positions" on the opposite side, and can land in any of the 8 places.

What I Didn't Do

I didn't add a two player version. Should I? I'm not sure. All I know is that I'd have to teach the computer to play Chess, and that wasn't something I was prepared to do!!!

Other than that, I think this game turned out ok. It's more Puzzle than I'd've liked in the Shoebox, and I also said that this month was "Toggle" not "Switch", but somehow the word Switch managed to sneak into the game's title.
Grrr!
