New games every week!
Another week, another language..

This week saw the launch of "Monkey", the next-generation of BlitzBasic.
-=-=- I've been a fan of Blitz for many years. I'd even suggest that my purchase of Amiga Blitz2.0 would put me in the oldskool fanboy group.. But that would be lying. I was all about AMOS in them days! Instead, AmigaBlitz was an unused testing ground, apart from a few pre-game menus, and other oddities. My true Blitzlovin' didn't happen until PC Blitz, many years later. You need only hunt my Gamelist to see my true love for Blitz. About 95% of the games in the archive are either Blitz2D, Blitz3D or recently BlitzMax. You can probably see a pattern, there! So, is it time to switch, again? With new Monkey (which I'll probably be accidentally calling Munky a few hundred times or more) I now have the option to code for browsers, systems, and also iOS and Android.. Oooooohhhhhhhh!!!!!!! But, am I ready to change? Thinking about that big switch has already been holding me back from trying out GLBasic. For me, a whole new language has 2 major issues. 1. I need to learn again, although that's usually quite fun, too 2. I lose my framework. That second one's a biggy. Default menus, permanent option bar, sound options, pause, titlescreen, highscores, that lovely little score graph, and even that silly unfinished unused music engine... They all vanish if I start again... ... Is it time for a change? Am I ready? And can I keep up AGameAWeek while trying it!??! Test Spikes (Takes a while to load!!)
