An Open Letter to Pirates Blog
1st April 2011
This isn't going to be a "You thieving bunch of bastards" post.
I know this goes on. There's no point trying to stop it.
Unless Apple want to show me a list of who did and didn't buy my app, there's sod all I can do about it.
I can only urge people to bother to buy my game. Because it's really fucking good!

What this IS going to be, is a small request to the people who crack my game.
This isn't a whinge for money.
This isn't a bitch about the rights/wrongs.
But it is about the player...

-=-=-

Whenever I post a game, which is REALLY FUCKING OFTEN, I spend the next couple of days googling the name of my game to see the overall net-wide reaction to the game.

It's fun to watch random blogs pick up your game, and go "Lol, this is a bit shit!!", or "Oooh, how strangely playable!", and other such random bits and pieces.

I'm having a slight issue with SpikeDislike, though.
Every time I post an update, it'd be nice if a Google would show me forum comments about the update.

I find it hard enough having to trawl through the multitude of forums without the aid of Google.
But, with SpikeDislike, you damn pirates are fucking up my flow of information.

When I type SpikeDislike into google, I'm getting this...

You guys are completely fucking up my flow of feedback.

If you're going to do this, (which you bloody well are, because that's apparently all you do) then for fucks sake...

WAIT A BIT...

Give it a couple of days, let me get some feedback, let me respond to complaints and fix bugs.

People are too damn lazy to email, or post reviews on iTunes, or even bother to go to my site.
But they WILL happily spout complaints into their frequently visited forums, and it's those things that I desperately need to be keeping track of.

Let me do that.
