A game? Again?
Yup! Made a nice little mazey thing, where you have to trek around a random maze. The maze isn't hard, but it's one of those nice "harder if you don't do it right!" style of things that I have a knack of making. Not sure why I keep doing those! I just seem to like their insane difficulty! Perhaps, in reality, my games are actually really really piss easy, and it's just me that keeps playing them wrong!? *shrugs* -=-=- Anyhoo, I spent a few hours on Daisy Chains today, and the frontend's looking nice and simple, yet somewhat effective. The ball rolls around on the menu, as well as a floating daisy background/starfield, so you instantly get a feel for the accelerometer. There's also a nice switch/slider for changing the sensitivity, and a Reset Tilt button, so.. in essence, the titlescreen acts as a calibration test. Job done. Although, it's still not much of a menu, yet! I still need to draw a decent logo for the game. Tried a few times and... Well, I can't draw, so..!! Keep trying! A title, and then some sort of secondary/alternative mode to add, so the menu isn't just a single Start button.. One that's added, it's time to mess about with the whole Apple Upload stuff, before trying to come up with nice additions for the game's 2nd release. I'm nearing the "first bit done" stage, and I'm desperate to finish it off, 'cos otherwise I'm going to keep playing it all day, and I'll never get the damn thing done! Views 16, Upvotes 5
