One man, 365 games
Luckily, he decided against that, and has now shifted gears to a much more manageable 52 games a year, or AGameAWeek if you will.
As I always say, I'll wish you all the best on your quest.

It's a toughy.
You have a life, and unlike me, you probably also have one of those "Social Life" thingies!
These tend to get in the way.
As does enjoying yourself.

As a quick example, the last 3 movies I've watched are..
1. Star Trek : The recent remake one. I watched that on DVD. Good film!
2. Transporter 1 & 2 : Joe Mallozzi started work on the TV Series, so I felt obliged to watch 'em... He's since quit that job. ho hum..
... That's all 3..
And one of those happened in, 2009..

I have no time for movies, and.. well.. movies have been shit for a while, so no great loss.

For the past few days, though, I have been thinking about playing that copy of Saints Row 2 that I've had, unplayed, for a few years.
.. still haven't got around to that..

.. and I'm not currently DOING AGameAWeek.. (January!)

The lack of interest can get to you, too.
Post a game after 2 months of work, and a lack of interest might make you go "FFS, That's a fantastic game.. Why the hell is nobody playing it? GAH!!"

But when that happens weekly, with only the regular folk chipping in, and nobody else giving a monkeys..
... that really starts to hit home after about 20 or so games.

Annoyingly, you can't exactly spend all day posting to the 50-odd forums that you currently love frequenting.
My forum usage used to be, um.. fuckloads!
It's now Socoder, Curly'sWorldofFreeware, GBATemp, Tigsource and RetroRemakes, and I VERY rarely post to those, either.
.. which is really bad when you consider that one of those is actually my own damn forum!

Your lack of forum visits means your advertising opportunities plummet.
You can either be "That guy that only turns up when he's spamming our forums every fucking week", or you can just not bother.
I've opted for the latter.

I continue (when not on a break) to keep the games up, but only the regulars know about it!
.. meh.. whatever!

You have to be in the right mindset, too.
Coding is one thing, but thieving is another altogether.

NMcCoy started a while ago, and he managed quite a number of games, gathering a decent audience as he went.
Unfortunately, it all went a wee bit pear shaped when some total tit stole one of his game ideas and make a fuckload in AppSales.
I don't think he took it very well, his game-making went a bit wobbly, and then other things started to get in the way.
Poor fella.
